Coming and going from garbage collection.

An interesting event happens five nights a week on the street right next to ours.  The local garbage collection truck comes around to collect garbage from the houses in the area.  You can set your watch by the arrival of the truck each night as it never arrives before or after 6:55 and 6:58PM.  If you didn’t know what time it was, don’t worry, you would still have a good idea when the truck is coming up the street because of the classical music blaring from the overhead speakers.

As the truck approaches you will see people coming from every door in every direction with arms carrying full garbage bags.  It becomes a community meeting with neighbors sticking around and chatting as the truck pulls away to its next stop.
