A photo from Laura’s birthday party last year. It seems like so long ago.
Tis the season for birthdays and this time it was Laura’s turn to celebrate her birthday. The birthday parties started at 10AM and lasted through the night. After leaving school we headed over to the American Club to meet some friends for drinks and snacks and then made our way over to the Flying Squadron, a place you have to see with your own eyes to appreciate it.

Happy Birthday!!
Laura and friends.

HI LAURIE–HOPE YOUR BIRTHDAY WAS AS MUCH FUN AS IT LOOKED!
ALSO, HAPPY THANKSGIVING–HOPE YOU HAD TURKEY AND ALL THE TRIMMINGS–WE DID AND SEVERAL DAYS LATER, WERE STILL EATING TURKEY, SAGE STUFFING, MASHED POTATOES, GRAVY, SQUASH, GREENBEANS, WALDORF SALAD (DON’T LIKE CRANBERRYS–TOO HEALTHY FOR US!) BUT I DID MANAGED TO “TOP OFF” THE PUMPKIN PIE!
LOVE, YA’
AUNTIE P.

Happy month and a half late birthday! I actually remember that party even though it was SO long ago. I gorged myself on caramels and spilled lots of punch.

Hi, we are from the Seattle area and living in Taipei too and found your pictures and stories very interesting. Thank you for sharing. One question; what is the “Flying Squadron”? You mentioned that you have to see it to appreciate it so thought I might try.
