On a dark rainy night I headed out for the day’s PAD assignment, because I hadn’t shot anything throughout the day. The timing actually worked out well. The rain was just dying down, but the roads were still wet. Ever wonder why the roads are always wet in movies and TV shows? It’s because they reflect light, add contrast and offer a more dramatically lit scene. It worked well for this scene too. One road, on the right, is a busy road with stores, lots of traffic and streetlights, whereas the road on the left, is a quite residential type of street. The triangular shaped building in the middle comes to a point where the alley and street meet. Don’t let the rain keep you from going out and shooting.
