It is hard to believe, but the Photo a Day project is 10% complete, only 329 more photos to complete this assignment.  Honestly, I have to say that I started it as a bit of a fun little side project and didn’t have high expectations.  Now that I’m into the second month of this I can say that it is one of the very best photographic choices I’ve ever made.

It has been raining hard since we woke up this morning for work and I didn’t make it out in the rain like I did the other night.  PAD #36 is a photo of something that Laura and I see constantly.  It is the clock just above our TV.  If you’ve been to our home you’ll know exactly what we are talking about.  It was put in by the owners that remodeled just before we moved in and initially we hated it; it was way too abstract for something that needed to be functional.  “How the %$## can anyone tell time on that thing?” is what we kept telling each other.  Now, almost four years later it’s grown on us, a lot.  To give you an idea of the scale, it is about 24″ x 24″ and sits about 18″ deep.
