The land of the gracious people.  We love Thailand, Bangkok, Changmai and Phuket so when we had a chance to meet up with some friends over the Thanksgiving break it was an easy decision.  Our plan was simple, do a little shopping, eating and lounging by the pool.  Bangkok is a vibrant city full of life, color and sounds.  Today, Thanksgiving, was a rather low-key day with some light shopping and heavy pool lounging.

This KLM flight from Taipei to Bangkok (KLM878) and from Bangkok to Taipei (KLM877) is conveniently timed and cheap, but is almost always late.

After some naps back in the room it was time to head over to Cabbages and Condoms for dinner. We’ve been here a few times, and it’s always good.  Good, cheap, Thai food in a fun atmosphere, it’s perfect.  And, everyone goes home with a condom (it comes with the bill at the end of dinner).  As you might have guessed, Cabbages and Condoms is a very active member in the safe-sex scene here in Bangkok.
