Glowing Buildings – Fujifilm X-H1 and Leica M240

Tonight’s gear: Fuji XH1 w/16mm and Leica M240 w/ 28mm Summicron

Last night I loaded up the Fuji X-H1 with the 16mm (24mm equivalent) and the Leica M-P 240 with the 28mm Summicron and headed down to a spot I haven’t been to in years, Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall.

As you come up from the CKS Memorial MRT Station you are greeted by quite a sight.

The back side of The National Theater. (Leica M240)
CKS Memorial Hall painted in pink hues at sunset. (Fuji X-H1)

Heading down at sunset worked out well, especially with the white marble surface of the CKS Memorial and the pink skies.

Nicely lit with so much detail in this roof. (Fuji X-H1)
Leica’s take on the same scene above. (Leica M240)
Long exposure on one of the ponds with a glowing roofline in the background. (Fuji XH1)
Glowing buildings around CKS Memorial Hall. (Leica M240)
They are all such grand buildings. (Leica M240)
